Vision & Mission

Vision

By leveraging breakthroughs in quantum science, we endeavour to create transformative technologies that enable meaningful societal benefits and compelling economic value.

Mission

We bridge the gap between academic labs and industry to accelerate the research and development of the most promising quantum technologies as the basis for exciting new products and businesses in Canada.

The application of quantum science is poised to transform nearly all industries and touch every facet of our lives. Thanks to the efforts of the public and private stakeholders who established the Quantum Valley and other centres of quantum excellence across this country, Canada has established itself as one of the early leaders on the forefront of this emerging global industry. To capitalize on this success, it is imperative that we translate our breakthroughs into new tools and technologies that can make possible new opportunities and identify even more new challenges offering benefits for decades to come.
